Hey everyone, I'm Mike Wolf, one of your hosts here on Dive Bars: The Last Call. I'm a Buffalo native, a whiskey lover, and a student at UB.

I've always loved bars in general, but local dives have always held a special place in my heart. They have been second homes, filled with people (and drinks) I love. This podcast has given me the opportunity to learn so much more about these special places- for that, I am quite thankful. Thanks for listening in!

When we started this podcast, I knew absolutely nothing about dive bars. Throughout this season, I not only learned about what makes a dive bar a dive bar through the people we've met and the stories they shared, I learned more about the city of Buffalo, its history and the communities that came together thanks to alcohol.
